Sometimes when I arm the alarm it beeps 3 times and flashes indicators 3 times at other times it doesn't bleep and flashes twice.

Am I setting it in different modes? If so what are the modes and how do you select them?

If it bleeps it means one of the doors or the boot is not closed.

Mine does the beeps if I alarm it too soon after getting out, as above probably thinks a doors open. If I leave it 10 seconds or so it doesn't do it.

It basically means there is an error and the microwave part of the system arming will be delayed.

Normally its because the windows are still on their way up after closing the door!! If you wait until they have goone up (and your boots / doors etc are properly closed) it wont bleep but flash twice.

its just occured to me that im full of this useless TVR triva!!!

(...and someone will tell me im wrong now too hehe)

It beeps if you arm while the interal light timeout is still running. The one that turns off the courtisy light. As soon as that expires, and you arm it, its silent.

I have the M99T2 user manual if anyone wants it, or a link to it.

thanks. Good to know that you are able to test the sensors in the first 25 seconds. I often wondered if the interior sensor really works well being partly covered by the door ecu's.
