engine swap grand espace

i was just wondering how long it should take do an engine swap on a 2004 grand espace 2.2 dci. my espace has been in the garage for 5 weeks this friday. the garage told me before it went in 9 to 14 days i rang them on the 14th day and they said it will be the week after. i rang on the third week and they said the same agen. i rang last week and they said they were waiting on a part from france and it would be another 2 weeks. during this time they have renamed the garage and seem to have moved units. i am in nottinghamshre but the car is being fixed in essex they have a web site and advertise for work on ebay.

is ther anything i can do or is it just a case of wait it out?

I believe you've been scammed. I don't know that much about Espaces, but I've pulled a couple of engines, and in a proper garage with all the right equipment and people who know what they are doing it should take a couple of days at the most.
