The number of Ultimas for sale in the classifieds must be a record. 8 (9 if MJPmark's is there as it seems to pop in and out) has got to be the most ever.

Is this a sign that the economy is starting to squeeze some owners?

From my talking to sellers and dealers, nothing is really moving anywhere.
Think Kyle may have sold his now, but nothing much happening anywhere else.

Dont think its confined to Ultimas though. From what im told Merc, POrsche Lambo, all affected at the mo.

Dont think its so much a squeeze, more of a situation where things are uncertain so people are thinking twice, or trying to keep hold of what they have as a security if it does go wrong.

Ive had a few silly offers, and a PX price. But nothing to shout home about.

One thing i will say is the Ultima has a great name whne looking to buy, but come to sell and the story is very different. Strange market place this ere Kitcar market. Not one i enjoy i have to say.

My GTR will be coming up for sale soon, fortunately cheaper than most for sale at the moment so may have more interest - lets hope so.

At the moment I hope to keep mine (when it's finished) until I'm too old to get in and out.

The car martket is very much in the doldrums at the moment and especially true when you're talking about a toy/fun car like the Ultima. Running costs are also a consideration, especially given the extortionate price of fuel that's only set to go higher.

That said, a well built/specced car at the right price will always find a buyer - but it's a buyers market.

Ive taken a deposit on mine along with a list of further jobs to do!!

camcoating
traction control
and few other little bits

I think the test drive in the rainmad forced the new owners hand on the traction control. Ill let him introduce himself when he takes ownership. Fighting Torque has been mentioned but i think he wants to become more familiar with the power before committing.

I have had a lot of interest in the car with one gentleman offering me 5k more than i had agreed with the buyer.

Hi Kyle

Glad to hear you have found a buyer. You could offer to pilot it at Fighting Torque for him!

Going to put mine on as I want to build GTR. Heres hoping that I can sell! Would consider taking the one I have apart and using the bits but would end up throwing too much away!
