I need a new passenger side seat belt for a 1999 Chimaera 500. Any ideas on part numbers or what will fit?

Many thanks

Phil

Have the same need, passenger side belt, but the stalk is longer on the securon belt listed, does anyone know if this will still be ok. I think the one on the Chim is about half the length.

I recently fitted some landrover ones as my driver side had jammed up. £23 each approx from http://www.paddockspares.com
The stems that they come with are maybe 2-3 cm longer than the TVR unitsbut work fine.

from memory i think Securon do about three stalk lengths, 15 30 and 45cm ? the second part of the part number indicates this.

Phil, you might want to start putting some penetrating oil on the bolt that goes into the outrigger - I sheared off my Passenger side one when I re-did my interior a few years back and had to re-tap it which was a PITA.

If the webbing is all thats the problem. Have you tried clever trevor who do a re-webbing service?

impact wrench will be needed to remove stems, they are a b1tch otherwise, even with shed loads of penetrating fluid!
