Solid effort. Although you can see where the major features have been borrowed from, it works pretty well as whole. Could do with a few tweaks, but fit and finish (surfaces, shutlines, etc.) looks impressive full stop, thought it'd be nice to confirm from pics bigger than 600px... Most impressed with retaining / re-using of the glasshouse: have always wondered why this hasn't been done before and be interested to know if it's a cut'n'shut (in the nicest possible way) or they've taken moulds. Look like S-Max / Galaxy gill vents, again an idea that's been waiting to pop: lots of such details out there, waiting to be used.
Couldn't face reading through whole MOT / IVA tirade (BTW the Brits didn't invent the CRT TV, an American did) but hardly presents most professional side to potential customer. Expecting to get by on just an MOT was optimistic, and ranting about SVA / IVA system is unlikely to change anything; surely talking to the regulators before setting upon a course of action - especially when there's scope for interpretation - would have been less stressful, and possibly resulted in a better outcome. Didn't see an answer as to whether they'll all have to be on Q's

Could do with a different choice of lights as they let it down. Its like they're an afterthought. Also maybe lower the body a touch.
With the lights maybe take a tip from older TVRs when using lights from another car, and blend them in better, or hise them behind perspex like on the back of a chimera with the mk3 fiesta tail lights.

It's so nearly there - overall very impressive - there's some lovely details on there. Moans? For me the nose isn't aggresive enough - I think a backward rake chin rather than the forward slightly "shovel" one would suit it better. The chrome trim on all the parts bin stuff just looks nasty and totally at odds with the boutique look but that's an easy fix - black, black and black! I also agree with Jonty355 that it could do with sitting down a bit. Finally I don't think the choice of rims show it off to it's best. I accept all that is being picky and it's extremely easy to be critical (although I would hope it's constructive) as a bystander who hasn't invested what must be hundreds of man hours on this thing - as I say bloody impressive for one off concept.

Is it a CV for design skills? an attempt to start a kit car business? an attempt to start low volume specialist turnkey? or an attempt to snag major manufacturer acquisition of rights and full scale production? - the company themselves don't seem to know and from the website content they must be engineers and not marketers.
I wonder, has anyone ever tried to take a concept car onto Dragon's Den?

I also think it rides a little high, but the impression is compounded by what look like generous wheelarch clearances and the sill section is a bit weak, especially under the door. Aside from exotica lookalikes was trying to think of similar cars & all I could think of is the Minotaur - and it's clearly light years ahead of that...

Fair enough I hadn't read it properly.
Still, would they not have been better using a bespoke spaceframe chassis.
By all means use the cougar as a donor and even use the windows etc if required.
I'm sure they'd end up with a better car in all respects?

I admire the chap for his skill in delivering this interesting one-off. But in business terms it seems like a dead-end.
