I want to adjust the tappets on my S3 , can anyone tell me what you have to remove on the right cylinder bank ( drivers side )to get the rocker cover off ?
Is it alternator and coil only, or does the mounting brackets for these have to come of too.
i want to soak all the bolt required with penetrating oil but don't want to get it on the manifolds if its not nessesary.

Thanks

Dave

I am about to do my tappets this weekend after a visit to David Batty to get a new mirror column. If you can hold off until next week, I will have a guide ready on what to do.

Also have a wiper park switch guide in the pipeworks.

Mine does! (Most don't though, apparently)

(I have a terrible feeling of deja vu...)

Quick correction. It is an 11mm socket needed to set the tappets, not 13 as I incorrctly put.
