Yo people,

I have posted this on the general discussion forum but figured i'd try here too.........................

Has anyone any experience of these 'high performence' glassfibre oil filters? How do they compare to more conventional paper type filters? Are they worth the extra or are most common or garden oil filters glassfibre these days?

Need a filter for my 450se

I don't know the answer to your question but two things strike me: do they have the non return valve? What's wrong with the conventional filter?

Yeah, I think I'd stick witht the conventional type, they have been around long enough to be well proven and designed to an effective and efficient standard. If they are good enough for the top-end car manufacturers...
