Been today to look at a 130i.
Took a test drive and was
Blown away by the performance and the sound of that 6cylinder engine. These cars are awesome!

Anyways car is at a well known used car dealership in northern ireland.
Car is 2005 130i m sport
30,000 miles
Le mans blue
Leather interior
Full BMW service history.
Sticker price @ £10,999
Really liked the car enough to buy but when it came to haggling on price. They had "no movement" in price
Best offer they could give me was a wheel care package and machine polish.
Being the ONLY 130i available in NI does this sound right?

HA!

They're trying to shift a big engined car and there is "no shift" in their price? I would be half tempted to leave an offer and for them to call you when they want to accept it. The only good thing about buying a big engined car at the moment is the ability to haggle money off because no one can shift them!

130 is probably rarest of the 1 series -in other words not very popular at all-so make that a bargaining tool as stated above

This can`t help your case to be honest.

For the price of a flight to the mainland, your choice of cars will massively increase and so will your chances of getting a deal.

I`d get on the classifieds and see what else there is, you`ll also get a good drive back!
