high performance millers oil bad for 2005 clio 1.2?

Was looking for oil for my runabout and bought millers oil from cam skill XFS 5W40 Fully Synthetic only problem is its high performance oil, will it be too thin for the clio ?

5/40 is kinda normal oil , what does the handbook suggest for that engine

How often do you change it?

I use good quality but inexpensive Oil in all but 2 of my cars and change every 3000 miles and I'm not a fan of long life oil and I've yet to have an issue (I keep cars a long time)

No idea when the car was last serviced, I'm servicing it tomorrow but willbechanging the oil every 10k/year

Hand book say 5w 40 is fine its just I'm worried the oil may be too thin

5W40 is as thick as 10W40 at running temperature. If the handbook says 5W40 is OK, what's the problem?

yeah the handbook would be right lol

the 5w bit means its not like treacle in winter which is good

If the handbook says 5W40 then I see no issue.
