TVRCC Herts & Beds: Jaguar factor visit, August 2011

Hi folks

As this event is now well on the way towards being finalized, I decided it would be best to track the details in a separate event.

So far, I have the following people down as wanting to come from the Herts&Beds and Middlesex regions.

We have an allocation of 20 for the visit.

This means I have 0 definite positions left and 1 possible. If people
are bringing passengers, then these will also count to the allocation.
At the moment, I'm assuming passengers are only coming if stated. If
you are planning on bringing a passenger, then please say so now, else
they may not be able to come.

This event is now confirmed for the 22nd of August @ 1300

This event is only open to TVRCC members, but members from other regions are
welcome.

The event is now running a reserved list only.

I'll also see if I can up our booking at Jag. They might not
have any issues if I say a bigger group is coming

Hi folks

The event is now booked in for the 22nd of August at 1300.

I have increased the allocation to 20 which means we have some additional spaces that I have allocated to the Bucks region for the moment, so those on the reserve list may still get in if those places are not taken up.

I will send out more details nearer the time, but one thing to be aware of immediately is that parking at the site is limited, so if we can car share or something like that - if possible - then that would be greatly appreciated.

I'll discuss this with Andy and Justin and see what we can arrange.

I've added you to the reserve list. One the week is up and the Bucks allocation reserve has passed, I'll assign the rest of the allocation to the reserve list. So, if no one else from Bucks comes on, you'll get in fine.

A great day out! The tour of the factory was very detailed and showed us the production lines of a number of Jaguar's latest ranges.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take any pics from within the factory itself due to CIC issues, but here are a few from the the visitor centre.
