Another ubiquitous "What car" thread

Must have:

0-60 under 8 seconds (I know I know but I'm not picky!)
Leather
Cruise control
Auto
Better than 35 mpg combined
None of those crazy inherent and catastrophic design flaws (like the K series head gasket, or the Porsche IMS, etc.)

Must be:

Under 10 years old
Under 80000 miles
Under £7000

I have been looking at E46 330ds , but I drove one and it didn't really impress me.

Any suggestions?

Tried a 330i? No experience myself but people seem to think they'll manage low-30's mpg
