Noble M12 GTO as daily driver?

Hi all

I going to look at the above next week, do you guys use the cars as daily drivers? If so how is it?

I don't mean mpg, ride etc I think I can guess that More interested in how it copes with curbs, steep drives etc with the low splitter? Also, interior storage - is there anywhere for phone, sunglasses etc?

I use mine for work at least once a week but would suggest you get a cheap run a round as well! Easy to live with apart from the obvious running costs!

I wouldn't recommend it as a daily, although some people do use them every day. Don't get me wrong they are brilliant but you can easily catch bumps / kerbs or even open the door onto a kerb if you are not really careful. Running costs can be pretty high too.
It depends on the miles you are looking at doing every year and if you include winter driving but I would recommend a cheap snotter and the Nob as the toy.

With the splitter removed there is a fair amount of front clearance compared to other low slung cars so speed bumps have to be quite severe before you need to be concerned.
The comment above about opening the door onto high kerbs is true though and if you're tall you'll need to open the door wide to get in/out so tight spaces can be fun. I've actually had to go back into a pub until the people next to me left because I couldn't get into it.
Turning circle is rubbish and so is rear visibility. You don't say where you're from or what sort of driving you'll do but if you're in London - good luck!
They can also leak like a seive, namely from the floor up, rear screen, rear top cabin pressure vents, probably others too.

Ultimately you need to drive one to see if you'd be happy using a toy all year round but I know I couldn't. As far as storage space, the door pockets are good and if you need more, there's plenty behind the seats. If you buy the luggage kit or get creative, there's lots of room for a week away for two.

I am a new owner (brought Duke Thrusts Nob) and do agree with the other comments....best to get a runabout and keep Nob as a toy.

Just to reassure....its a fantastic car, if you can afford/have the space for a runabout and a Noble you won't regret it!!
