Help!! Just been offered a mint 2001 325i Se saloon auto in dark blue met. My old e34 520i has been great but its time to move up a few years. I have known this 325 since new and I have always admired it with shadowline, full leather and park sensors etc. The elderly owner has done about 13,000 miles a year taking the current mileage to just over 130,000. It has full BMW service history and seems to have been fully serviced 3 months ago. It has relatively new quality tyres all round and has a long tax and MOT. I am assured the car has no faults and it was traded in for a new X1 which was easier for the owner to get in and out of. A local dealer who buys the older local BMW dealer trade ins has it and I call there monthly to view his stock. The car drives totally as new without a mark on the body. He is asking me £1750 along with part exchange of a mint 1995 520i SE manual. Having talked to the previous owner (who admits missing the noise of his old cars engine) the gearbox has never been used in tip-tronic. Worth a punt?
