got me self in too deep i think.......
got no diy skills but am trying.
anyway got an e36 convertible as a project.
now foundout it leaks (small drips) at the door to windscreen closing joints at the top.
any suggestions on how to stop my car becoming a swimming pool???
cheers.

If it's just the odd drip after you've shut the door, fairly normal. The waters already inside and it's going to drop down.

If it's continually flowing my first £1 would be on door/window alignment.

Quite common this, give the rubbers at the top of the windscreen in the corners a clean, then smear a light coat of vaseline/grease on them. This usually does the trick. Also clean the area of the roof that sits on them.

thanks for the advice on my swimming pool issue.
have had the windows aligned, no leaks there.
will now look at the rubber seals on the front screen.
cheers.

I had the same problem, but my fix was slightly diffrent - Lift the roof slightly, then use a toothbrush or similar to clean out the rubber at the front of the roof and you will probably find its split. Put some superglue in there and shut the roof to help it seal, then no more leaks!
