Imperial blue cerb

I'm nearly ready to paint my newly rebuilt cerb, I've decided to keep the blue which I understand to be imperial blue, looking at the paint code sticky's there are possibly two codes. My cerb is a 98, but is it a bmw colour or ford? The front end has been replaced so can't get the code of vin plate.

Imperial Blue is a Ford colour.

Imperial blue is, as stated, a ford colour, as used on the Pumas I believe. Be aware though there are at least two if not three slight variations. I had an imperial blue cerb. Lovely colour.

Ford Imperial Blue. My favorite colour! :-) Originally used on the Escort Cosworth and used on some MK6 Escort Cabriolet's too i believe? Also the Focus RS and some ST170's, The Fiesta Zetec S was available in it and of course the Racing Puma (altho Ford called the colour Ford Racing Blue on this model). I Think there are 3 variations of which my Cerb is non (typical TVR) mine is "more purple" but is definately Imperial Blue so i'm told.
