Next Tuesday is the longest day of the year. Anyone fancy a go at driving from Ardnamurchan Point (furthest westerly point in Scotland) after sunset, to Buchan Ness (furthest easterly point) by sunrise? I've been swithering about it for a few weeks now. Can it be done?

Sunset is 22:17 in Fort William

These are the closest I can find.

Sounds like fun and I as have nothing to do until September, I'm free. If I could afford to put the miles on my car I would. Unfortunately I can't, although I may try rope a mate into it tongue out

From Ardnamurchan to Acharacle is over an hour of single track road with deer, rabbits, sheep and all sorts on it! Could be very interesting!

Still swithering over it though. Will take about 3 tanks of fuel all in (getting there from Glasgow, doing it and gatting home from Aberdeen).
