I have been offered one of these. Quite like it. For less than £1k seems a decent watch.

Only thing putting me off is the lack of bracelets for Damasko.

Anyone know if there are reasonable non-Damasko options?

I think you can fit a Sinn bracelet to a Demasko.

'No' from me, but most people like them.

Yes to the watch, love Damaskos.

Not sure one the bracelets, as mentioned, I think the Sinn ones fit, as they use the same cases? Last time I had a bracelet from Chronomaster, it was ~£200, and I think they've even gone up in price now as well.

They do look great on a Toshi leather strap.

If you search for Andy Tims on here, he's had a few on leather straps and they look great.

They look simultaneously fussy and drab to me.

I think what bugs me is the tedious font used for the numerals, and the excessive minute markers on the bezel and the dial.

I'm led to believe that fit and finish are beyond reproach, though.

Whilst some have tried, the Sinn bracelets don't really fit. Being a big fan of the watches, I'm not 100% impartial but a DC66 for £1k or less would be a decent buy, provided it's been looked after.
The 67 is the one to have though wink

Better resale than an Oris diver, I presume?

I really like the surface hardening & the general look of it.

For <£1k seems decent value.

Definately better resale than an Oris, decent watches that they are.

For maybe a bit more £ there's also the Sinn 757 which can be had on a bracelet, here's mine (on a Toshi leather strap)

The Sinn looks good too - but they are a bit pricier, and they don;t harden the back (or the buttons I think).

If I could get a Sinn for £900 I'd be a happy camper.
