....for a burgungy or red Ford Transit, partial reg "MV53" with a silver "Ford" sticker on the bottom of the door. White male driver calling himself "James" on the Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire boarder area. Entering isolated farms and country houses, asking questions about livestock and generally casing sites.

Similar Transit to this.....

...any information or if you notice the van or suspicious person hanging around your property call your local Police non-emergency service.......

Norfolk 0845 456 4567
Cambridgeshire 0345 456 4564
Lincolnshire 0300 111 0300

....or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111

"James" if you're a PistonHead this is Tony Martin country chap I'd think again if I were you.

Let's hope he gets just a glancing shot that takes one of his buttocks off. He'll regret trying to rob a farmer every time he sits down for the rest of his life.

He was stopped on a farm messing about with an electric fence apparently "lost" then asked a lot of questions about the livestock and horse, he was later caught in a stables less than a quarter of a mile up the road and seen driving around later that night.

I was thinking horse thief or thief in general. Horse tack sells and is virtually untraceable.
