White male driver calling himself "James" on the Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire boarder area. Entering isolated farms and country houses, asking questions about livestock and generally casing sites.

I was thinking horse thief or thief in general. Horse tack sells and is virtually untraceable.


A chap tried to take a horse near where I live a few years ago, got kicked and tried to sue the owner because he broke his hip.
