Idiots Guide please....Coil Packs
Discussion
Can someone give me a step by step guide to getting to the coil packs? I need to replace the oil pressure switch and am told it sits under the coil packs.
My guess is they are in the 'V' somewhere but not sure if front or rear, or how quite to get to them. Do I have to take ALL the induction off?

If you have a look at this thread you will see how I got that far, and the problems I met

OK, I see this referencing the coil packs, but it doesn't tell me how you got to that point, or where they are located.
From other thread said:
A very unproductive evening, all I managed to do was remove the coil packs, one of which is split and rusting. The design of that aluminium mounting plate is, umm, not ideal. However it seems to be following a theme, lets place critical bolts completely out of reach, hidden and obscured by parts that can't be removed. I would love to see a photo of someone actually removing one of the inner head bolts.
Check out Andrew's advice on the Alternator thread too.
