The gendarmes let me off!

Cruising just North of Rouen on Thursday AM in my F430 suddenly I'm escorted off the Motorway by 2 police bikers to a 'revenue raising encampment'. French plod takes my license informs me I was doing 170kph in, I think, a 130...I give him some good humble whilst his mates start milling around chatting and pointing at the Fez..then he asks if they can take photos of car and take it in turns to take group shots of each other round the car with me at the side looking sheepish..after 10 minute of hangng around and seeing an Audi owner being asked for 1000 Euros he gives me my license back, says 'thats a beautiful car, take it easy' and waves me on my way!!

How bizarre is that?!

I'm guessing it's a win to being polite, and "sheepish". Oh and lucky they wanted some pics of your car!
