Transit slow starting, ideas?

Normally, my transit will start once the pre heat light has gone out. Recently it will not start on the 1st turn of the engine, but I have to turn it over a 2nd time before it will start. Any ideas what is causing this? Gloplugs? do they have a life span? Is something on it's way out?

probably glow plugs. Try clicking the key till the light goes out, then to off, then on (till the light goes off) then off, then on (till the light goes out) then start. If its quicker than normal, the glow plugs are dead/dying

yup, sounds like glow plugs - easy to change, 10 minute job tops.
