Electric cars!

So have just seen on the news that 2 guys have driven from Lands End to John O'Groats in a Tesla to show how cheaply it can be done, the outcome of their 900mile journey was it cost them approx £20 compared to approx £135 in a petrol car averaging 40mpg.
Of course what they didn't elaborate too much on was the fact a fully charged Tesla has a range of 200miles (didn't say at what speed) and that to fully charge the car takes approx 8 hours. Ok so you save yourself around £120 but how much do you pay out in accomodation costs!
