Do you know what, i am a big Motor Sport Fan and love F1. I am not a biker but watched all of the TT this year and loved it! They are all mental but great characters with it. It must be the lack of glamour and money that keeps them nice and grounded.

Brill. Bikers are a unique lot - they are fantastic athletes, hard bds, and proper blokes.

Must get to the IOM at some point!

I have to say I thought the ITV4 coverage this week has been 1st class. The presenters etc have been top rate and the access they have to the riders really helps. You feel you know all the guys personally and want them all to do well. Those interviews kind off sum it all up perfectly though. They take the racing seriously but not themselves.

I do hope Guy Martin bags a win next year. The man is a Leg-End.

I love not just Guy Martin's accent, but the way he speaks and expresses himself sometimes. A real character. smile

They're great guys. (excuse the pun)

Sadly money talks and when the F1 guys are on multi-million pound contracts with mega sponsorship deals, I don't doubt the money keeps them towing the corporate line.

I have to say, this kind of press conference is a breath of fresh (no-bullst) air.

No Bernie, no FIA simple. Just look at V8's in Australia, NASCAR, IRL and DTM. All of them allow massive fan access, the chance to meet the drivers and feel included in everything that goes on. Even Le Mans is spectator friendly. F1 is all about corporate image and huge money, the fans at the track are a pain!!

Well done the biking fraternity and enjoy yourselves.

That's fantastic - I agree that the F1 stuff seems pretty forced in comparison!
