Mulsane was a bit more interesting and good fun this year, although the police were in high profile to stop any burn outs etc.... Any photo's?????????? I will up load mine later in week.

I think this element has had its day frown

Sure, the boys from the Rotary (or where ever) put on a good show, but the lack of rubber on tarmac (and frankly, some of the terrible attempts to do so) makes it more of a procession.

Anyway, mine from the day.

But little or no rubber being burnt!

A certain Fezza was giving it beans, but he was the only one I saw.

A few people asked me to do a burnout, but with the heavy gendarme presence (we spotted quite a few along the road) most drivers would rather not bother. Me included.

Very good indeed. My apologies for nearly knocking the 'copper' down, but previous experience has taught me never to stop there with my windows down!

when we were there the gendarme were being quite tolerant, letting you have a little burnout and then just signalling you to slow down when pulling away

BSJ roundabout on Friday night was rather busy biggrin, a big pickup truck doing an epic burnout was the highlight for me. The place was heaving with people.

That Ferrari convertible was the only Ferrari i saw all week lighting up its rear tyres.
Very poor turn out for the Italian exotics this year. Decisively down on all supercars this year in my opinion compared to when i last went a few years ago.
I think there were as many supercars as usual, but they weren't out on the Friday night. I'm not sure I would either, to be honest!

That's great, reminds of years gone by (circa 1998/1999) when people were scoring out of ten for a mate wheeling along from Indianapolis on his blue R1 and a certain lime green Caterham doing burnouts / standing starts, oh and a certain red and white Europa slaloming through the (laughing) Gendarme... Those were the days smile
