LFW: Test Technician, Guildford/Woking

Former test technician looking for work in the Guildford/Woking area – previously spent 12 years with a company making high current/high voltage magnetic media erasers and a range of PC-based automated robotic CD/DVD disc duplicators and printers; worked up from shop floor assembly through technical support and servicing to senior test technician. Prior to that I was an apprentice with BAe Systems, working on Harriers.

Currently working as a service co-ordinator but realising that organisational/office work doesn’t suit me – I’d much rather be tinkering with stuff with a screwdriver in my hand!

Anyone know of anything that might suit? Can start immediately.

You might want to consider changing your username?

I can't help much further but I always used to drive past Vision Engineering near Send who may be worth a speculative application.

Thankfully I did - working as a service/calibration tech for a company that makes ultrasonic NDT scanners
