A few months back Mrs D1 had a 1mph contact with a stationary car, so minor was the contact they neither she or the other car knew they had touched but a do-gooder alerted them both to it, anyway, no damage to our car but scratch along side of jap box, fine, exchange details just in case, no claims from us.

Just rang insurance company for update/find out more, appears the f'in scratch cost £1600 and the f'in cheeky gits put in a f'in f'in personal injury claim for f'in whiplash, f'in Jeremy Kyle lovin tw*ts!!!! Whiplash from a 1mph contact they didnt even know about, c***t!!!!!!!!!! Naturally I started fuming down the phone to be told they they just accept these claims and dont challenge back, no wonder the insurance rates are going up for us all! f'in 'injury 4 u' claimant scum bags!!!!!!!!!!

Upshot is I lose 2 years no claims mad

Can you let me have some contact details for your insurers - I've suffered whiplash as a result of that post and would like to claim!

Annoying but seems to be par for the course, we get hammered for insurance and money is tight so we claim when we get an opportunity, the insurance company pay an ammount for the claimant to shut up and ps off, it is just a case of weaning people off getting their couple of grand for nothing as moral fibre and the actual facts of the incident dont count for anything these days.

It seems to be a similar model to the welfare state where everyone pays in to provide a safety net for emergencies which has transformed now into a way of life to live off benefits, just like how the rest of Bradfords economy is funded by crash for cash. These ambulance chasers are the worst, they must generate a lot of income judging by the number of adverts they run day in day out, all payed for by the money they skim off your claim which comes from insurance companies who you pay for your insurance.

Insurance companies are always portrayed as the villain of the piece but they arent charities, they are there to make a profit but that looks increasingly difficult where a none event becomes probably a 5 grand claim even before the claims companies get involved, also they dont work quick enough, have heard of ten grand rental car bills.
