I had a new boiler fitted a couple of years ago and like a fool have lost the Corgi/Gas safe installation certificate, do I need to contact the plumber or can I go straight to the registration board to get a new copy?

Forget about the whole malarkey. It was just another one in a long line of stupid ideas, and is being phased out; nobody is really interested in the notification.

Tell me more benbob.

Our house was rewired last summer & we never got a notification through the post. It's something that I keep thinking I should chase up, I haven't got anywhere with the sparky and don't really know where to turn. Don't I need to worry about it?

Boiler Benchmark Certificates and Notification pre-date HIPS by some way and purchasers solicitors are still insisting on them.

I haven't seen any suggestion these things (either boiler certification or electrical Part P certificates) are being relaxed.
