Halo 4....Oh My....
Discussion
now, i recently sold my eggbox 360 after getting annoyed with the never ending rumours of Halo 4, and acheiving everything i possibly could online & in game on 3, now the buggers announce Halo 4 IS happening.
Surely i cant be the only Halo fan on here? the actual game was superb but the online games with 3 were absolutely immense!
oh, and heres a sneak peak for those that havent already seen it....

i sold it because, put simply i had it for 1 game only, and the PS3 is a much better console. i will, however, be buying a new one.
Don't agree with you on that, the ps3 has alot going for it but for gaming I'll take the eggbox everytime. The playstations a great all round media device though. Any way, I don't want to start a ps3 vs xbox argument so I shall move on.Not sure if I'm looking forward to halo 4 or not, I enjoyed the first 3 but never really liked the online side of halo and all I ever do is play online these days. It is good to see the main story is going to be continued though, the spin offs just didn't have the same magic. Hope it isn't a disappointment.

Stange that, I find it the other way around. I much prefer xbox games and have a PS3 for the blue ray and watching data dvd's etc.. last game I bought for the PS3 was GT% and not played on it for months. Halo. I don't bother reading reviews and when it may be out. But do love Halo games

Didn't he die at the end of the third one?
MASTERCHIEF DOES NOT DO DYING!!na he didnt - if you cleared the game and watched the credits you'd see the end scene.
as the arc him and the arbiter are travelling enters the wormhole it closes up on them. you see the USNC and the elites mourning the loss of all including masterchief who didnt make it through
- cue credits*
then you get an external of the ship drifting to a planet...
where halo 4 carries on from as the trailer shows.

Should be good though.
i didnt think reach was too bad - much better than the crap odst they unleashed
I particularly like the ending - the way your visor gradually cracked as you get worn down by ever increasing numbers of enemies. Very un-Hollywood and all the better for it IMO.i didnt think reach was too bad - much better than the crap odst they unleashed

oh yeah great ending. One last stand. fantastic.
would be great if there was one of installments which finally takes you back to reach, covenant/new baddies destroyed.
reach multiplayer is one of the best onliners i've played too

I really couldnt get into Halo. Struggled to see the hype around the game. Just running about with a blaster. Did nothing for me.
The game play itself was very variable TBH and didn't really bring anything new to the genre, but for me most of the appeal came from the well developed mythos of the Halo universe.rhinochopig said:

Bob on that. It's the world, the universe halo is set in. The detail, the story, the characters. The game play isn't really that exciting but the game makes you want to play through to find out what happens.Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
