I posted last week thinking my issue related to the radio panel recently being off, however I am now thinking that it must be unrelated. After consulting a wiring layout diagram and some radio panel off photos, I have confirmed that everything is where it should be.

The symptoms I have;
None of the three buttons ('94 with 3 round buttons) do anything
No dipped beam or side lights
Indicators working fine
Hazard working fine
Full beam working fine

I have checked the owners handbook, found the relevant fuse and checked it; Its fine.

Any suggestions on how I fault find this would be great!

Thanks

Aidan

Hve you still got the radio out or is it all re-assembled? If re-assembled is there a chance in putting the radio back in you have pysically pulled at some of the loom?

I have taken the panel back off to check over everything. All connections seem sound

I got the same problem. Does your dash light up? My side lights will come on, but the dash doesn't light up and the main head lights don't come on???

My took 3 minutes to fix. Two spade ends had come off from behind the switch. Check your wiring is correct.

I ran mine to a friend yesterday who has determined that there is a short on the sidelights which is blowing a fuse....It seems my check of the fuses had missed that!

He has disconnected the side light circuit and now I have headlights and the dash lights. Finding the short on the headlight circuit may be a difficult task.

I did notice a very small amount of water in the passenger footwell however it was more damp than wet. I presume this will be unrelated..
