The Osbourne Bull - Are we being invaded by the Spanish?

I've noticed more and more cars seem to have a sticker of a silhouetted bull on the back of them. A bit of digging around reveals it to be the "Osbourne Bull".

Why do people display this? If they have a Spanish connection? Alonso fans?

I don't have one. The marketing symbol of a firm of sherry and brandy producers from the Jerez area of southern Spain.

I used to have one on the back of my old car. But I lived in Spain, the car was Spanish and so was the previous owner who stuck it there. Sticking one on a car in the UK makes no sense at all.

Last time I was in Alicante I tried everywhere to find some cheap for my cars. Really want them.

Probably because that is my surname so its OK for me to have them....

Very popular sticker from Southern Spain to "prove" the car driver has been on holiday there. It's an alternative to Indalo Man (a stick figure holding up a rainbow) which you will also see on cars that have never been to Spain but their owners have - not that it's much to shout about like maybe The Maldives or something....it's not like it's an expensive holiday.
