I went in to Str8six yesterday to collect my engine and got to have a look around the new Tuscan race car Jason and his team are building. Currently still in progress, the front and rear will be modified to make them removable clam shells but currently has some made up brackets to support the body. The chassis has lots of extra bracing in it, apparently the engine is making 460bhp and built for endurance racing, mated to a 6 speed sequential shift. Apparently there will be oil coolers for diff and gearbox in the boot area.

Looks like it will be a serious bit of kit once its finished.

I like, I like alot... Looks stunning, Dad was telling me about it on Monday night after he dropped off our T350c, a very serious bit of kit.

Didn't ask when it will be finished, but looking forward to seeing it out. Which was your T350C?

Just re-read my post, sorry - I meant the Tuscan Race car was a serious bit of kit... ours is just a pretty standard T350c. It is the blue one with the funny numberplate. smile

Aston should have taken a couple of them down to Le Mans seeing as at least the TVR straight six can complete it. wink

Thats not the car he had at Goodwood that was to become the racing Tuscan - that was white and orange and other colours iirc...

It's possible its been painted, as the engine rocker cover is orange, i wasn't actually at Goodwood so didn't see one there.
