Coffee and biscuit on arrival, MOT, coffee and biscuit upon collection, properly washed (it's an 'E' estate with multispoke alloys so takes a bit of time), hoovered inside - all served up with a smile.

£30 inc VAT.

First time I've walked out feeling like I've done them!

That was for the coffee and biscuits.

They'll send you a bill for the MOT!

It's great so get something off them, but they'll win eventually.
That said a box of chocolates turned up from the dealers this morning as a thank you for filling in a after sales survey. Haven't not tried them yet the quality may reflect the answers given to the survey.

I always challenge myself to see how much coffee I can drink whilst I'm waiting.

I have nothing but good to report about my local dealer, Mercedes-Benz of Newcastle. They match my independent on price; they fix my car quickly and at short notice; they give me a super duper new car to drive around in the meantime; and they are quite enthusiastic supporters of the Merc club. It's taken a while to train them up like this but I think they're extraordinarily good.

Me, the coffee is very good, better than Starbucks rubbish which I'm sure is at least £2.50 a cup.

I wish I could say the same. I use Mercedes-Benz Glasgow, when they're good, they're very, very good, but when they're bad they're awful!

To be fair they do seem to be improving with each visit, and appear to be making more of an effort on the whole.
