Tracker system for less than £45

I recently bought a tracking system for my car from the Chinese eBay for about £40 which is similar to this one and have just had it fitted. It needs a sim card inside it, so I bought a PAYG sim card with £10 credit and automatic top up for if/when it ran out.
It works by sending the authorised mobile number a text message with exact longitude and latitude co-ordinates of where the car is. You text the number of the PAYG sim card and it texts you back the co-ordinates. I was highly sceptical at first however I've tried it a number of times and it matches perfectly.
It is a small unit so can be hidden almost anywhere in or around the car. The only downside I can find is that it is necessary for the tracking unit to have a GPS signal to be able to respond to your text command. But for less than a night out I highly recommend getting one.
