dare a say a small tester pot of supernatural? - sorry!

but seriously, the small tester pot at about £18 should give you at least 3/4 coats on your car - you can then decide if it's worth it?

I use poorboys black hole (glaze) followed by nattys blue. (also on a lupo!)

I have to say it looks fantastic after the above!

I use purple haze on the (black) Elise - seems to come up nicely enough.

I use black hole on it too.

Don't get too hung up over which one to go for - hard wax is easier to apply thinly, which is what you want.
If you want to start off tentatively, then you'll be pleased with £12 worth of Meguiar's #16 Mirror Glaze.
If you want something real easy to apply and remove, then Bilt Hamber Hydra-wax is worth looking in to.
Prima Banana Gloss is another very good liquid wax - cheaper than Hydra-wax, but not as durable, so six of one, half a dozen of the other.
Getting away from wax altogether, Optimum Opti-Seal with its wipe on, walk away (no buffing) process may appeal.

Have you not thought about dodo juice supernatural hybrid? It's about £25. It's pretty easy to apply, just takes a little effort buffing off.

There isn't a huge amount of difference between Blue Velvet and Purple Haze beyond the texture, but as a midway point, maybe go for either Blue Velvet Pro or Purple Haze Pro as these have sealant ingredients and can be more durable. Maybe 3-5 months durability compared to 2-3 for the normal versions. PH Pro would be my choice as it spreads more easily and further. A 30ml panel pot - enough to do a Lupo about 4-5 times - is 9.95 GBP so not that expensive. That gives 6-12 months of protection when layered. Don't buy a big pot just yet.

As the last poster says, Supernatural Hybrid would also be worth considering. Technically a more durable recipe (4-6 months) and 29.95 GBP for 100ml(or less with deals online). A jar will last for 3-6 years, maybe more if you have a Lupo.

Either.

You won't be able to tell the difference.

No, as in a 30ml pot gives 3-4 applications, and each application will last 3-5 months on the car. So 6-12 months before you have to buy another pot.

And yes, you wouldn't see a difference in terms of Blue Velvet vs Purple Haze on a dark car. On a white car, you could after multiple layers, but not on a dark colour.
