I need to ensure my S3 as my only car..... This seems to keep the price up nicely and so far the best I have got locally is about £600! Will do about 10k per year as a max. Amyone else insure as their main car and get a good deal?

Try Classic Line, only do 5k a year, but just over 250 quid, no garage!

Try Admiral - believe it or not. 420 quid fully comp, no claims protection, no limit and my wife as a listed driver (only been driving 6 months). On street - no garage (err - the car, not the wife ).

I'm currently with Privelidge. Main car 15k on the Street in central Brighton. Fuuly Comp with protected no claims... £approx £800.

I had a quote for renewal in July for about £550 from Liverpool Victoria. Most others were quoting me about£11-1200.

By the way, I'm 38 and will be back to max no claims at renewal (6 years).

I use mine everyday, including business mileage, and the best quote I got this year was £711.67 with a £250 excess from Cheam (020 8770 1001).

That's for 10K a year, with 3 yrs NCB, garaged overnight. I'm 36 living near Wokingham, Berks.

The next best quotes, with the same excess, were £762 from Direct Line and Tesco.

Do you think I'd put up with either of those being 3 years old?! 3 weeks would be more like it!
