Please could anybody out there advise me of what type of radiator I need for my Tuscan MK1 52 plate.
Is it a full aluminium or a plastic/aluminium rad...and does anyone know the rough cost & a good place to get them from.

Thanks

I have a 2000 mk1 Tuscan. Alumium radiator. Several threads about best type for a Tuscan. Both will fit.
Aluminium is lighter, lasts a bit longer, less cooling. The copper/plastic ones are a bit cheaper, heavier and have the best cooling.

Replaced mine with a aluminium one. Bought it at Racing Green, 244 pounds (ex VAT)

Before buying a new or refurbed one: The copper/plastic ones can sometimes be repaired at a local shop within an acceptable rate.

IMO the ally one is a waste of money and any difference in the dry weight is offset by the fact that the ally one has to contain more water to achieve the same cooling effect.

The standard one has more than enough cooling capacity and is about half the price. The only downsides really are that it doesn't look as pretty or maybe last quite as long......however my standard one lasted 10 years and 55k miles before springing a leak so they're not exactly fragile.
