sb - did you have a 996 before, judging by your previous 'handle' - and if so, how does the 930 compare?

Just have to say that I still love the car to bits, just can't stop driving it.Handling is fantastic, and so far no problems it hasn't missed a beat.

Watched Harrys Garage yesterday re his 930 turbo s. Fabulous car and what a spectacular find. 934 heads, 3.4 litre and approaching 400bhp and 360ft lbs of torque from people that have forgotten more about these cars than most of us will know and in a lw 1275kgs package. Fanbloodytastic. I saw the new turbo s a few days ago. Left me completely cold in the flesh and I had a good close look at fit and finish etc. VW ownership has killed Porsche.

That, and many subsequent ‘911’ iterations haven’t particularly been kind to Butzi’s original, clean and simple design.

I saw the car being worked on at Jaz a few weeks ago. I recognised it immediately.
Seems it had more than 400hp as Harry had been unknowingly been running it with various vacuum/wastegate control pipes disconnected ... so it effectively had no boost control hehe

It's a lovely looking thing, and the Ruf wheels fill the arches much more convincingly than the stock Fuchs.

Link for those that haven't watched Harry's original Spanish video :

That car is fookinmad Well done Harry more character than anything else in his wonderful garage. Watching him chitty chitty bang bang on the motorway I had moments like that myself a few times pretty terrifying actually. All part of the fun hehe

Always carry a spare relay Harry! School boy error!!
