Fantastic stuff from both TVR teams, Mike was a little unlucky in both races not to get a result and Danny's cool head got him some well deserved points (as well as a victory!) Best coverage so far of the TVR's, I wonder if the directors are reading this?? If so, please get rid of the technical director berk - if he is still involved (quite why I have no idea) - at the very least, keep him away from the camera... show us more racing instead!!

We have been asked to put another 40 kg of ballest in the car for the next round at Snetterton,this is ontop of any sucsess ballest he aquires, 60kg 1st, 40kg 2nd and 20 kg 3rd, this means the first race at Snetterton Danny will be running 60 kg of ballest, if he wins that will be 100 kg, I have asked for the tech guy to prove to me with his calculations why he thinks we need this ballest, if he is so good and clever why are we 40 kg more than we were at Brand and Oulton, he told me that he had work our weight at 1040 kg, how can he have made such a big mistake, or is he making it up as he goes along?Fantastic stuff from both TVR teams, Mike was a little unlucky in both races not to get a result and Danny's cool head got him some well deserved points (as well as a victory!) hi craig the whole thing is farcical and seems to be as you say made up as he goes along (according to who moans the most about the tiv's doing well) i'm sure mikes got some more weight coming his way too,its very sad gt cup has gone this way, all the best for snett anyway win there and you'll have to tow your barbeque round as well!!!If this is not sorted out at Snetterton we will call it a day and pack in, no point in racing if we weigh that much we can't win.

When i enquired about entering the tuscan i was told it would not be allowed in unless it went into the LMP1 class so i just gave up on the spot. See you at donnington for chat, alex will be out in our tasmin to get the last signiture on his licience to upgrade to race A ready for spa in october

So they do not want two completely unique racers to be entered into the series effectively? Two cars that are not raced anywhere else in the world? Both from teams on relatively small budgets, yet, keeping to the rules and on a level playing field have already proven themselves to be front runners - with two great driving talents? Utter rubbish and their loss. If this is not sorted out at Snetterton we will call it a day and pack in, no point in racing if we weigh that much we can't win.
The same thing seems to have happened with Moslers worldwide too. What a joke. Well, I hope you (and Mikes team) are able to either find a fair resolution or move to another championship elsewhere - somewhere that values talented, spectacular and unique entrants.
In the build up to the Nurburgring 24hour, I cant help but feel it would get alot more media attention (that it rightly deserves) with a couple of TVR's thrown in to the mix. I know it is probably a long way off, but it would be absolutely incredible...

I see they are doing something similar to Matt Neal in BTCC.
Honda's Turbo car is so fast, they have restricted their boost; twice! Thing is, they havn't restricted the others since the first round when all turbos were restricted.
You win, they whine, you get restricted. Meet the new boss...same as the old boss!

If Danny mentioned it in his interveiw it would be edited out,I have asked for Andy Dawson to prove to me why i should put more weight in the car,we have incar footage of a un named driver exiting a corner a lot slower than Danny but then pulls a gap on the straight, now i am no good at maths but you don't need to be a brain sergeon to no that that car has more power to weight, i know that he will try to baffle we with his intelligent's, but i will ask to see that cars data showing it's corner speed, exit speed, and straight line speed, i will then compair it with Danny,s. I have also asked for Rob Barth to drive Danny's car with the weight they want us to run to see if he car run the same time as the Ferrari's did in Gt Trophy a few months back,if he can't how is he going to talk his way out of that one?
This guy is a first class numpty and the GT Cup series really need to sort this out if they are to be taken seriously, If Danny mentioned it in his interview it would look like a moan not matter how justified, it's best for Danny to keep a dignified silence and let others rattle the cages on his behalf,
Danny interviews very well and comes across very modest and without a big ego which is a credit to him and very rare these days.

Yep we have also been told to add wieght to the car. To be honest the reason i have been driving for the win in every race is that after being excluded WRONGLY from the first two races a championship win was out of reach, bearing in mind we have to drop a round and that first round cant be one of them!
We wont be racing at Snetterton, will be back at Brands Hatch in a few weeks and were planning to do a few tuscan challenge rounds. All in all a very dissapointing year! (Were not even half way through!)
