Fun car for a weekend

Hi All

I am approaching my 30th birthday and the wife has given permission to buy a fun car for the weekends (after sorting out garden and re-decorating the lounge obviously!)

I had alrady had an Alfa GT and I have always liked the last generation Spider, but I am open to other suggestions. It does have to be a convertible and does not need to carry more than 2 people. The budget would be £4-£5k, not that fussed on mileage as my TT does most of it.

Why don't you just buy another 916 Spider? There is no better engine that you'll find in a 5k convertible than the Arese V6.
