Colours that can only be worn by one car....

I was pondering this earlier today, it struck me that the Norfolk Mustard as seen on this Esprit S4s really could not be worn on any other marque of car.. it looks good on the s1 elises too granted but its very 'lotus'



Likewise a certain green can only be worn successfully by Lambo's

now i wouldnt put red in there as most cars could wear it well but are there any other marques/models and specific colours that only 'work' on certain vehicles?

Continuing the Lotus connection - the Norfolk Mustard Yellow looks good on Caterhams too [/biased]

I think some of the TVR iridescent colours would look stupid on any other car. Especially the fantastic orangey colour.

I've always prefered Portofini Blue. I loved it on my Fiat but it looked crap when I resprayed my Mini the same colour.


Oplime Green should only have ever been put on the Mini, looked crap on everything else.

Violet and Yellow looked good on my old MGB race car but on my E36.....

I dont know about the colour but its the first time ive ever seen a hairy lotus!
