MX5 LPG

Right then i'm off to see a LPG fitting guy this weekend.

I've been quoted verbally £950 plus flashlube for a conversion on my MX5. I'm going mad and think it is a great idea at the moment.

I'm using the car as a daily so i'm not too fused about wight distribution.

Anyone had LPG in their MX5? If so could you share your experience as to how long you have had it, how the car behaves on gas? How economical? etc...

I gues it depends how much you're planning to drive the car - your break-even point must be around 15000 miles which is about 14 months for me. What mileage is the car covering at the moment?

Now that it is a dailt probably around 10k a year. However this will go up considerably if it is super cheap to run.

Right then i've got a looksee booked with the LPG guy tomorrow. I've been quoted £950 with flashlube. Exciting times indeed.
