Lambo Owner called "Kev" - I've got your rear numberplate

I found myself a nice souvenir at the pay booth of the 2nd peage on the way down to Le Mans on the Weds morning: A rear numberplate of a british car with a Lambo sticker.

I popped it in the front window of my car whilst parked on site, in case someone saw it and could re-unite you with it, but no one got in touch.

So, in case you're out there, Kev, let me know if you want it back!

PS - I'm at work now and the plate's at home, I think part of the reg was "Kev" though.

The car it came off and it's driver were at St Saturnin for the Classic British Welcome, he had recreated the missing plate in black marker pen. I didn't see any PH stickers on it.. but you never know.

Nice chap.

I got to say I laughed at you posting about the rear plate and for a pic to pop up of the car with a taped on reg!

Yes good effort. And the owner is also thinking "thank goodness I got a yellow Lambo. A red or silver one just would'nt have worked!

Pop it into a police station with a note of where and how it was found. At the very least they'll contact to say it has been found.

Probably be happy just knowing someone hadn't ripped it off the car.

The driver of the Lambo got tugged by the gendarme at the peage.When he told them that he knew that he had lost his plate they said "Non monsieur we have spotted you using your mobile phone."Didn`t seem that bothered about him not having a rear number plate!!??Think he got a verbal warning.

Suddenly everything is clear. When I got to the Lambo at St S, I just turned to my friend and said: Why would you do that?

'How' is also a question. I wouldn't get a marker pen near my VX, never mind a Lambo. Perhaps he'll just buy a new one...

I spotted the car and owner last night, Nice bloke from Slough he now has the plate back.
