Red Escort Van, with heavy damage

Last night a red escort van came over a speedbump outside my flat and smashed into my neighbours Impreza, he's hit it so hard it moved forward about 3 feet and hit his LR Defender
I heard the noise and rushed outside but only in time to see the van driving off, I failed to get the reg number (I am gutted about this)
It had heavy damage to the front near side
If anyone in the Blackheath/Kidbrooke/Lewisham area sees a van matching this description or any mechanics get asked to look at a van like this with consistent damage could you let me know?
I rang the BiB when it happened and we heard sirens so they may have got them already but it would be nice to give my neighbour some good news if they havent
