Any recommendations for mobile tyre suppliers and fitters near Woking?

I've just had some destroy the tyres on one side of a company car, 2-weeks before it goes up for sale; therefore, the car is stranded and I don't want someone who is going to rip the company off on the price of the replacement tyres.

Any recommendations for supply and mobile fit?

I have always used Event Tyres. Good service and cheaper than most.

Another vote for Event Tyres and I've used them for the last 7 or 8 tyre changes I've needed.

Called them and the car is booked in.

As a side note, they were £20.00 per tyre cheaper than the local tyre shop who said their price was 'wholesale'

When I told them I got a better price, they said they'd match it - so much for wholesale price - but thennsaid they'd charge £35.00 call out charge.

So far so good for Event Tyres - cheers

I used Event Tyres recently, they managed to damage a couple of wheels, so make sure you check before and after. They did own up to one, and paid for it to be refurbed. I had to do the other. I'd still use them again.

I just used the Event online quotation page and they came out dearer than using our own local garage: My OH needs 2 new tyres for here Mini with 17" wheels: She was quoted £60 inc VAT for budget and £120 inc VAT for Pirreli. The Event prices worked out £63.70 inc VAT for budget and £131.44 inc VAT for the Pirellis so we may as well go local (Edmundsons on the Reading road in Winnersh).

However, thanks for the mention of Event as it's a handy reference to get a ballpark price for friends and family to make sure they aren't paying over the odds.

I used Top Gear Tyres by Reading Uni last week for my wife's car. They were cheaper than black circles and a few local indys that I've used un the past

I called my local, who have had a lot of business from me over the past 10+ years, explained the situation and was told, "we'll give you the wholesale price". I then checked this thread and saw the first 'heads-up' for Event Tyres. When I checked their prices, they were £25.00 per tyre cheaper than the 'wholesale' price than my local tyre centre.

Therefore, in this instance, the local business tried to gouge me and Event got the business. I'll let you know how the rims look after the job is done
