I'll not be watching this as it looks s
t.
Even though M's Diaz is in it
and Trousersnake I'll go out my way to avoid all reference to it.
I just saw the cast being interviewed on T4 and one of the cast, Lucy Punch, has the most annoying real life English accents I've heard.
really forced and clipped.
(I've just seen on IMDB that she lives in the States so that kind of explains it.)
This is more of a rant about her accent than the film. Saying that I saw Diaz on Grahame Norton and she's really irritating!
I'm just grumpy I guess.
But I feel better now.
(Lucy was quite fit though, so as long as her mouth is busy all should be well)
Maybe I should have just posted this in things that annoy you thread?
Meh.

I had the "pleasure" of watching this on the weekend. If you haven't seen it and don't want spoilers then look away now.
This film had the most screwed up logic and message.
- Elizabeth is a b
h, there's no two ways about it and maybe i'm supposed to feel some empathy towards her but I really did not. I was hoping quite the opposite and i'm not so sure the director intended for that.
- She cheats on exam, keeps the money, gets away with it and there's no repercussions. Is the message that cheats do in fact prosper?
- Her rival teacher Miss Squirrel was a decent person and she got completely s
t on.
- Under-development of characters, they could have used that girl in her class who was her younger clone a bit more but nothing happened there.
- The ending really didn't tie together. It just ended pretty abruptly.
I don't expect much from comedies and in fact it was not a film i'd have seen out of my choice. But after sitting through it, I couldn't help but feel it was pretty absurd. Oh...and Diaz is really looking a bit aged now too. She's still got the legs but the rest of her isn't that great.
