Sort of related but I saw an episode of Grimefighters recently where they were in New York for Passover, where all the Jewish people burn bread out in the street much to the annoyance of the NYFD. Except, they were using it as an excuse to burn anything they could lay their hands on. They were like Hassidic chavs.

Jerusalem is the home of the ultra religious nutters in Israel - most Israelis would admit that. Jerusalem is NOT at all typical of the rest of Israel .

Tel Aviv for example has great night life, very cosmopolitan and liberal with a vibrant gay scene .

You don't think the sheer lunacy merits any sort of worthwhile concern? Some little dog is going to have a hideous death because some overly bearded lunatics feel they have a right to do whatever the fk they want to, base don their ridiculous supernatural superstitions?

Indeed, what a bizarre stance.
More crazy antics from the stone age cultists.
"The animal is said to have escaped before the sentence was carried out."
Thank frack for that!

Awesome - let's base our opinion on this article.

Dead or alive the dog's more intelligent than some posters on here.

Not being bothered is not the same as approval. The dog escaped anyway so if your question is "am I bothered about a dog not being stoned to death halfway across the world?" my honest answer is no. Especially as the OP seems to be suggesting that this bunch of bearded mental cases are as bad as the other bearded mental cases in the region which is clearly not the case.

Why not, does it not show the carefully hidden religious extremism that actually controls the Israeli state??

you're right... We shouldn't judge those jewish rabbinical courts on what they actually say, should we. How silly of us.

Edited to add, We also shouldn't judge the vatican by the letter it sends out saying the future of the church is more important than justice for abused children either.

No it does not - in your head maybe - take the tin foil off dude and stop believing all you read on the net.

Buy a low cost flight and get yourself out there to find out the truth.

All you do is add fuel to a already difficult situation through ignorance.
