Candy White GT-I/R
Discussion
Hi guys,
Don't really post much on here but thought I would share pictures of my car.
Bought the car like this - Candy White GT TDI 140, 19" Lm reps, tinted windows, lowered on Jamex coilovers.
Heres the pics a few days after I bought it:

I'd always liked the GTI front and the R32 rear so thought I'd get that on the car. Came across the R32 side skirts on eBay and bought those too.
I went down to the CAS sale a few weeks back and picked up a JVC KW-AVX840. I sourced an R32 exhaust on here and it didn't fit, so the seller agreed on a refund and I got a custom cat back exhaust made up at Top Gear in St Albans.
Once I had sourced all of the parts, I went down to Uxbridge Autobody as they did some work on my cousins A6 and the quality was great! Had a word with the owner Khalid and agreed to drop the car there.
We had a few setbacks with problems with the bumper not fitting, which resulted in me ordering a shed loads of extra parts like the GTI slam panel, and GTI cross member bar, but we eventually got there in the end.
Heres some pics of the build:

And the finished result:

I have got to say a massive thanks to Khalid, Hassan and the rest of the team at Uxbridge Autobody for doing an amazing job on the car, I recommend them to anyone looking for custom work on their cars!
Also thanks to Dips for the exhaust advice, Top Gear in St Albans, Saty, Mak, Sonic, Dub Singh and Neil for their help and advice
Heres a list of what I got done:
Custom GTI front bumper with mouldings and number plate recess smoothed.
Custom R32 rear bumper with the upper and lower halfs smoothed to make a one piece bumper.
R32 side skirts.
GTI Foglights.
GTI Slam Panel + GTI Cross Member Bar.
GTI piping colour coded.
GTI splitter painted gloss black.
Interior trim painted Candy White.
Alloy lips refurbed Candy White.
JVC AVX840 Screen fitted and custom facia adapter.
R32 Style Stainless Steel Cat-back exhaust
Theres probably a few things I've missed out on but I think thats the majority of the mods.
Contemplating selling the car but not too sure yet. If I do keep it I will put GTI headlights on, R32 rear lights and either ajust the coilovers so it sits lower or air ride.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Sharif

Small update:
Just got the new Avon tyres on, car handles and grips so much better than before, got the car tracked too and it has made a big difference. I also shampoo'd the interior yesterday and the difference was unbelievable, I looked in the tank and the water was black!
Here's a few pics and one of the interior before I cleaned it:

Also getting ED30 GTI headlights in the next few weeks and Just got the car remapped from Mike at Motech Performance, the car is so much better to drive now, I definitley recommend him to anyone who is looking to remap their car, he knows his stuff!
Also on the lookout for 9.5J rear's as two wheels are slightly buckled so this is the perfect time to replace them! Will be going DC 11 tomorrow and GTI International next Sunday.

Thanks for the comments. The exhaust does not make a big difference noise wise as its a diesel. The Countach is one of the customers car, think it's been finished now.
I am based in Enfield but I am about in Uxbridge as my uni is there. No worries, I know the car is not to everyones taste but at the end of the day it's what I like and thats what matters
Wheels may be going as they are lightly buckled on two wheels, so might take some Mam MT1 alloys off my cousin as he has just changed his set.
I am looking into getting an air ride kit some time in the fall, just looking into which kit would be ideal.
Thanks
