Anyone going? It's not as good as I remember in the Coy's days but I'll be there. Hope to see some of you.

Indeed , I hope to be bringing a little gathering mainly on the Saturday but I'm planning to arrive on the Thursday night to set up and be ready for everything , it was just frustrating getting there half way through the day and missing a lot of the action , I'm also looking forward to seeing Suzi Quattro and 10cc as well as the Queen tribute act , please God , grant us some good weather ! yes

It's a great show, though I expect there will be mostly E types there this year!

I'll be there too - particularly looking forward to the E-Type and Group C races on Saturday. I also plan to enjoy the music and stay overnight so hope to bump into some of you there smile

I understand the organisers are hoping for 2000+ E-Types. I only hope they don't decide to do a parade lap as it will be a bit like watching sheep ... I suppose, if they do, they will need to go over the track with squeegees afterwards to scrape up the oil from all those Jaguar engines? wink

It's the overheating that worries me more, hope they have enough recovery vehicles.

A bit of déjà vu here - 1,000 E-type day 1991 at Donington. My car looked so much better then!

Nice E photo !
I missed Donnington in 91, did you ever get to Duxford for E day ? Were you there I'n 82 , if so do you remember the early red roadster , with Huge wheel arches and with a big block V8 and side pipes ? And Furry seat covers ! Have a photo somewhere of it .
I was there for my 21st birthday , But sadly no E of my own !

Think it then moved to Brighton sea front, which was a poor venue.

I plan to go on the Saturday, I have a berth for my DB7 on the AMOC pitch again this year.
As a previous owner, I have very fond memories of my ratty old E-Type and I'm really looking forward to seeing them out in force this year.
There is so much to see at the Classic, I always have the feeling that wherever I am, I'm missing something somewhere else. I'm like a kiddie in a sweet shop. Can't wait!
