Anyone near Track v Road ??
Discussion
Maybe a long shot, is anyone near Track v Road and could do me a huge favour of dropping in to have a look over the red T350 they have?
I am well down the road of potentially buying it, but am really unable to get the time to view it !!
Not looking for a proper inspection, just someone who knows what a TVR is to give me their impression of it in the flesh. Happy to award beer tokens to anyone who can help ..
Cheers Sandy.

Thanks to Zooto for some comments, still would be keen on anyone having a look though, simply to look at some specific parts of the car !!
Sandy
I was there a couple of weeks ago, not sure I saw that car but if you phone and speak to Richard he will go the extra mile to let you know what you need to know. Sandy

He who hesitates is lost.
Especially with good cars at the moment, most dealers I've spoken to recently are struggling to find good quality stock.
Prices are firm and good cars are being sought out as TVRs keep getting good write-ups in the classic press and I believe the Griffith was voted as one of the three best/iconic sports cars in the Telegraph last weekend.

Hi Sandy,
Most of the people who post on here will have looked at a few examples before finding "their" car. Sometimes it is obvious early on that what you are looking at is not the one, other times, you lose the car by hesitation or other factors. I looked at 4 before finding mine. In the end, I could not get to see "my" car as it was some distance away and I had work commitments. So, my brother, who has lots of general car knowledge, but nothing TVR specific, went to see it. As a result, I bought it, sight unseen, something of a risk, but a calculated one. I still remember the first time I saw it in the flesh when I went to pay the cheque, it was jaw-dropping!
To some extent, all car buying is a risk, but IMHO you are in a good position with TVR's as there are so many good specialists and enthusiastic owners out ther to buy from, however, it is currently a very competitive market. Good examples will fetch a premium and will sell quickly, good low mileage examples sell within days, so you need to be prepared to get out quick and have a look or have it checked over by someone you trust. There are people on here who will, for a fee, find a car for you, check the threads for pros & cons. Check PH and "main" dealer/independent web-sites daily. It may be worth visiting a few in person and discussing your requirements and then asking them to contact you if they get a suitable car in. Just persevere, but don't hang about if you see one you like! Good luck!!!
