Fed up

[Killer Rhubarb]

Not had my Cerb for 4 months now. Needed a new head and the engine has been in bits for months. Hopefully be ready soon. So fed up for not having it over the good weather that I dont think I want to drive it again. Plus I'm worried that it will be one problem after another now its had all this work done! Anyone had this type of stuff donw?

Hopefully it will be mint when I get it back. Any inspiration would be welcome now!

I had to get my engine rebuilt last year to sort a cooling (head gasket) problem - I got it back a year ago last weekend. Since then, there have been no faults - it has run perfectly, used no oil or water.

Oh correction: I had to replace the boot operating switch. £5.00, will the expense never end?

Cheer up sir we have all been here,and yes it will be worth it when you are back behind the wheel.Not tooooo long ago i spent ten grand on an engine rebuild only to be plagued with problems for about 3 months when she was done,but i stuck with it and got there in the end.My little orange beast had work done on her a couple of months back,she now needs more work done to rectify the work of a numpty nuff said.There cant be many peeps on here that dont ever worry about the cerb habits,but i suppose that is in a way one of the draws to emoh and yours looks the mutts nuts so stay with it

I was without mine for 9 months while the engine was rebuilt,but it just makes you appreciate it when its back.

There will always be niggles with them,but thats part of the charm.

When they are working on a nice sunny dry day they can be intoxicating,thats always worth the wait!

Yea after one month's TVR ownership, I keep telling myself that, however a failed headgasket is somewhat more than a niggle...

I think when i said charm i really meant they are crap,but wanted to be kind & positive about the marque!!!
